Congratulations on pointing out that the gospels are narrated by the disciples. Now, either you believe Christians think that the bible is a pile of shite, or you have to acknowledge that Christianity requires the gospels to be accurate accounts of what Jesus said.
Otherwise, it’s one hell of a fucking religion we’re talking about here. You’ve got people arguing the first book doesn’t count, and others arguing the second isn’t valid either. And yet they’re usually the very same people who claim that the Koran has to be taken at express face value.
For starters old son, Parable of Talents would be Matthew. It’s the Parable of the Ten Minas. And the fact is that 1/3 of the teachings Christians received from Christ come via parables, so dismissing their teachings as something “Jesus has made up” makes another mockery of the religion really.

It’s a particularly self-deprecating defense of a religion this. “The first book is a pile of crap, and the second book is just hearsay about some stuff Jesus made up” I appreciate it does mean you can pretty much deny any bad stuff that people might point out from the bible, but really it does require that the whole belief system should be dismissed as farcical, and I suspect some of its followers would object to that.
I disagree with this. Suicide bombing is a privilege, strictly reserved for the underclass. Nobody of importance or rank is going to be going on any suicide missions. Which is why, it doesn’t matter who has nuclear weapons, nobody of importance is going to have the balls to launch a nuclear weapon, because to do so, they will effectively be killing themselves.

In my copy of the Qur’ān given to me by the Saudi Embassy in Wellington NZ it clearly states that women must cover everything except their face and hands and that men must cover from above the navel to below the knee.
