Are breasts without nipples still breasts? What about nipples without......

Are breasts still breasts without nipples? Function requires the existence of nipples of course but this question is more about aesthetics.

What opinion do males have of breasts that are nippleless? Do they remain sexually appealing or not? More than once I have heard the expression “it’s all in the nipple”. If that’s the case why worry about the size of a breast around that part? Why aren’t nipples by themselves enough?

I’m annoyed that my question wasn’t answered when I asked it in someone else’s thread. I took it as some kind of official rejection; a hint that maybe I should be having what McVeigh’s having. Which I wouldn’t mind. Hypnos, the God of sleep, is my God. I love sleeping. Anyway, here’s the question in essence: Pamela Anderson without nipples: how much less attractive?

I’m sorry. Wrong forum. I’ve never done that before. It belongs in the mundane one.

Weird Question? What suggested it?

Is an arm without a little finger still and arm? Of course.

I don’t know about anyone else, but to me a nipple-less breast would still be attractive. It still has the warms and the smoothness and the bulk. On the other hand, considering that most of the nerve endings and sensitivity are in the nipples, I think that the woman who possessed these nipple-less breasts would be considerably less stimulated than I would be.

Or, to put it in terms that a male can appreciate, Is a Penis Without a Glans Still a Penis? The answer is, obviously, Yes, But…

Depends on your definition of “breast.” If it is a source of sustenance for an infant mammal then no, a nippleless breast is just a lump of flesh. If it is a lump of flesh used to fill a bra and turn on Cal, then it is.

Isn’t a breast reconstructed after a mastectomy nippleless?

Quit taking everything so personally, please. You’ll be happier if you don’t. And get some sleep.

Tough one, since I don’t find the over-manufactured Ms Anderson particularly attractive. But, as for the converse, I have dated women with nothing “on top” but nipples and we had plenty of fun. I like nipples.

Breasts without nipples = (slightly smaller) buttocks… good fun!

Nipples without breasts = breasts (slightly small)… good fun!

Any more questions?

Reason for thread: Women’s magazines never allow women to know what men really think about them. Even ones like Cosmopolitan are useless in this respect. Clever women read men’s magazines (or now, The Straight Dope) to gain useful insights.

Seriously, when did you ever see a women’s magazine that was remotely like Details or Loaded? There are none and there never have been any. It’s about time that changed.

Is it true to say that nipples are concentration points? I mean mental concentration - a source of focus for both sexes. The stronger the concentration, the stronger the sensation. There is an theory, I know, that reproduction is just a by-product of sexual pleasure, as strange as that seems. It may be possible to consider that form of the breast came before function.

Yes, usually. My good friend Mrs. X had a double mastectomy. She just celebrated another anniversary of being cancer free  She did share that it was difficult for both her and the genteel Mr. X to be around boobs which were totally smooth over their surface.

She had- and I say this without a damned hint of smarminess, ok??- she had nipples tattooed into her flesh. She felt that it would help her emotionally regain her self image. She described it as being " a 40 year old Barbie doll, nice tits again, no nipples". Now apparently she has the image of them at least.

It works for her, and for them, and so I laud the choice. From what she told us at the time, it’s fairly commonly requested to have this done- after you are pretty sure you are finished with any surgeries.

Yeah, women’s mags are pretty useless. Especially those of Cosmo’s ilk. Never read Details or Loaded–seem too fashion-centered for somebody like me who looks good in WHATEVER I’m wearing. And other men’s mags seem convinced that all guys like what Pam Anderson has done to her body. Except Road & Track, which still considers Pat Moss* a sex symbol.

Even the seemingly-useful women’s mags (Women’s Day/Family Circle, if you can tell the difference, or whatever the equivalents are down there) are awful useless. You have to be VERY careful following their recipes because some seem like nobody tested them first.

There are a lot of lewd, crude and rude women around. In my opinion men don’t really have a claim on that. Maybe the “hen party” environment brings it out as much as the locker room does for men. You’d wonder, in fact, what a lot of women really use romance novels for. Rolling papers? Ransom notes? That’s why it’s strange that so many Women’s Weekly-type magazines still exist in the forms that they do. Ok, it’s because Women’s Monthlies were never going to work. I know that.

I thought breast reconstruction would lend itself to more than tattooing these days. This question was never intended to take that slant, I’d like to add.

I know you said that you intended for this to be in MPSIMS, G. Nome, but it’s really more of an IMHO type thread, so I’m moving it there.

OK, why did people post to this thread when it was in General Questions but completely avoid it after the shift to In My Humble Opinion? Who can answer that?

People either shake their heads and click the back button (like I did the first time I read this thread), or don’t really have an opinion, or their opinion has already been covered.

How hard is that?

It is kinda difficult to know what else to say 'Nome.

Erm… hooray for nipples? Will that do ya?

Nobody has a humble opinion on the topic?
