Are cinnamon heart candies common in the US?

We’re sending a valentines package to my sister that lives in LA. I want to put some small candies in it, preferrebly something that she might have trouble getting down there (and make them a surprise, hence my not asking her!)

Are those little, red cinnamon heart candies readily available in the US? You know the ones… Pretty much straight sugar with a bit of “cinnamon heat” to them when you get a mouthful? They’re about, oh, 1/4" wide (or maybe a little less?)

Thanks!

Yes, at least you can find them here (Washington DC). Usually though only around valintines day or in a store with a large candy selection.

I’ve seen them around.

Thanks. I’ll take that as a “Yep, they’re pretty damn common!”
I appreciate it!

I would say they’re common (I’m in Canada). Although, I usually can’t find the good ones once it gets too close to valentine’s day.

I love the damn things…totally addicted to them. Try them on vanilla ice cream!

Yep! (AZ here) Really good on cookies and ice cream.

I really hate when people post what I’m about to post, but…

I thought the thread was about cinnamon candles, and when I read about eating them, well I thought for a moment you Canooks were really whacked. Then I read Americans were into it & thought, “geez, there’s no end to whacked out freaks!”

Solly!

Anyway, I hate cinnamon unless it’s a cinnabon, so I hope no one sends me any of these thingies. Of course, I’ve love it if a Canadian loved me, but so far they all pretend I don’t exist. :frowning:

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten anything for Valentine’s day, other than maybe a cold.
