You know, I was ready to dismiss this like the rest of you, but then I realized that my girlfriend has been feeding me a lot of grain and hasn’t been letting me move around much. And she bought that bolt gun last fall. She claimed it was for her Halloween costume, but if that was the case I don’t think she needed to get a real one. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’m really beginning to get worried.

It was difficult, but I watched this entire video. Everything about it is wrong. Everything in the text is wrong. For every question that started with “Who told you that you are…” my answer was nobody. Nobody ever told me any of that shit about myself. Every affirmation of what “I am” as a man (with the exception of father, which I’m not anyway) could be equally attributed to women. The implication that “I am” is that “They’re not” and that’s bullshit.
There is still inequality between genders. In general, men are still at an advantage in the workplace and women are still at an advantage when it comes to family rights, especially post-divorce financial and parental rights. Both sides can bring out their poster child examples and invoke anger. But this video?
This video is not only insulting to women, it’s insulting to men. To call it drivel would be kind. It’s malicious, divisive propaganda.

I’ve ZERO interest in watching the video. At my age, I enjoy people for what they are. I don’t poke too much into the details. (Unless they are seeing me in clinic:)- and then, well, it’s clinical.)
The OP wouldn’t last long in my (extended) household- both my SILs and my daughters would set him straight. I’m immensely proud of how they handle these issues. They are all cis gender, which makes life a bit easier, as does being straight, and get their jobs done with none of this nonsense. I have children of my heart (versus of my body) who are trans, or gay, or undecided, and who also have this figured out. Honor. Truth. Faith. Constancy. Strength. Respect. Those qualities have little to do with the dingledangles, or lack thereof. There has been no slaughter, or emasculation.
