In my experience, it sure seems like it, but I know better than to extrapolate too hard. Google is not terribly helpful here. What does the data say?
I think you are suffering from a case of confirmation bias. I’m not aware of any gender-specific linkage with a specific allergen… but I have been wrong before.

Here’s a study that found that men were 10% more likely to be allergic to the 11 allergens tested (which included cats) than women. However the article says the finding contradicts earlier studies showing that allergies are more common in women.
I am a woman who is extremely allergic to cats – I haven’t noticed any gender differentiation among other allergy sufferers.
