No, not the little critters that crawl in the ground. The ones that are common on our bodies.

My dad always told me that larger moles have the potential to become cancerous if you come in contact with too many UV rays. I guess they could become skin cancer or something. Now, my father is by no means a doctor, and I have no idea where he heard this or if it’s an old wives’ tale. And I was just feeling particularly curious.

So, are my moles ticking time bombs?

Soapy, your whole body is a ticking time bomb. Skin cancer often develops at places where there are no moles.
