Why can’t I start a thread about when I have to take a dump? It is mundane and pointless, right? I just wanted people to wish me luck. So what’s up Cajun Man?

Haven’t seen a suicide-by-mod in a while.
I don’t see how the first thread was asinine. It was mundane and pointless, but look at the forum I posted in.
The forum is in some ways unfortunately named. It means more mundane and pointless than, say, Great Debates. But not so mundane and pointless as announcing one’s bowel movements. I suppose some posters could pull off even that as an art form, but you haven’t succeded in doing that. Your recent threads are too mundane and pointless even for Mundane and Pointless.
Look, take a hint. Ask for this one to be closed, if you value your membership here.
No kidding. Isn’t there some rule about emailing the mods and asking them, first, instead of opening a new thread when one was just closed concerning pretty much the same thing? Or does that only apply to someone asking about a poster being banned?
This seems to be the right place to discuss this.
Yes, it’s mundane and pointless, but YOU MUST NOT SHARE IT!
To paraphrase the shrink in “Grosse Pointe Blank,” don’t start any threads for a few days, see how it feels.

Mudane and pointless, are things you can judge.
Whether I must share it is up to me.
Well, yeah, but whether you can share it, here, is up to the administrative staff.
If it’s that important to you to share, open a window and let the neighborhood know about it, instead of posting to the boards.
Regardless of what you think about the subject, a mod closed the thread and asked you not to start another one.
A private e-mail for clarification on how mundane is too mundane might be appropriate, but a public thread about it is like dancing up and down with a sign that says ‘Ban Me!’
Unless, of course, that’s your goal, in which case a private e-mail (“Dear mods, I’d like to be banned, please”) would suffice.
**Major Kong,**I reckon that Cajun Man is just jealous because his bowel movements aren’t as regular as yours, and he still can’t have a dump without falling down the toilet.
Anyone else thinking of the song?
“… it’s Major Kong… 4… 3…2…1…”
(Okay, so it’s really "Major Tom…)
I think your main transgression was that in addition to being mundane and pointless it was boring an artless and lacking any shred of entertainment value. There are limits to mundanity and it’s unusual (weird even) to see someone pushing the envelope of pointlessness the way you did. The only thing I can’t quite determine to my own satisfaction is if are you on the edge or on the verge? Can’t decide… must go clean kitchen.
Kong, either you are intensely stupid, or you are playing intensely stupid to get a rise out of people.
Either way, you are fucking annoying.
Isn’t there some moron board out there you would feel more at home on?
One man’s opinion:
The first thread was mundane and pointless, and excessively so. It was also scatalogical and contrary to the mods desire to keep the tone of this board from falling below a certain level.
That being said, it was a bit refreshing in its boldness, and the source of several amusing comments. As a one-off it wasn’t all that out of line.
The second thread had none of the advantages of the first and all of the problems. Plus the idea that you might announce here each time you moved your bowels is simply repulsive.
If you feel the need to share with the world the ongoing state of your digestion, please consider a LiveJournal or other weblog.
Major Kong is the very definition of mudane and pointless.
You know, the last guy who thought MPSIMS meant “share every little thing going on in your life” was banned.
Finished cleaning kitchen, living room is next!
I’m going to get breakfast.
Maybe I’ll post later when it’s transformed.
Which one was that?
