Hey, *you *were the one who described your own behavior as:
If you were just exaggerating for effect, then don’t start whining now when people actually take you at your word.

Yes, actually, you did say that.
You say that now, but in your OP you said that it was tough for you to NOT fantasize in the car. Which post should I believe? Since you are unwilling to admit that there’s anything unusual or dangerous about driving “like a maniac” then I am inclined to doubt that you’re genuinely determined to change your ways. Even if you are, that’s not going to solve the problem unless your problem is strictly one of self-control…and if you thought that it was, you wouldn’t have started this thread.
Once again, you need to stop making excuses and see a doctor.
When I said “near misses”, I was referring to the fact that this other poster had mentioned her incidents in the plural. A commiseration, if you will. I, myself, have only had this ONE incident.
And yes, it is tough not to fantasize in the car. Do you know how boring the tollways are? But since that ONE incident, there have been no others. I don’t expect that there will be others.
I didn’t start this thread to “change my ways”. I just wondered if other perimenopausal women experienced an upsurge in racy urges or fantasies. I don’t want the fantasies to go away at all. I WILL refrain from use of said fantasies while operating heavy machinery. That’s only common sense.
Two Many Cats: Backpedal much?
Wile E, what do you mean by “natural methods”?

Two Many Cats: Backpedal much?
Only about the stupid car incident which a lot of folks blew out of proportion, and from this point onward, I will no longer comment on.
That’s the only thing you posted about that could lead to death or injury for another person but hey, by all means feel free to ignore it.
