I don’t know why I’d remember a gag from 46 years ago. And afa not liking the strip, I think it’s my dislike of Snoopy mostly. Plus I can always sort of sense Schulz’s melancholy throughout and I don’t need that- I got enough of my own

Aside: This is also why Charlie Brown is bald, or nearly so. Whenever he’s stressed (which is often), he visits his dad at the barber shop, and every time, his dad trims off a bit.
