I just noticed that several posters who I’m pretty sure had avatars, no longer have them. Have people removed them or is it a board issue? I guess I’m asking “has anyone recently removed their avatar?”
Try force refreshing the page to get the most recent non-cached version and see if that changes things.
Avatars take up such a trivial amount of data that having them or not won’t make a difference.

I’ve also had one or more smilies not load, instead showing the text. I assume it is because the server timed out when trying to retrieve the image–likely because it was overloaded.
