Are sweatpants considered "sloppy" when worn in public?

OK, what if you saw someone at the grocery store wearing this. Would you make any judgments about her? What if she was interviewing for a job in a professional setting? What if it was a man wearing that outfit? Does it then tell you anything about his personality?

Just popping in to say this made my day.

I for one, BigT, am never prejudicial.

Her bra seems to be right above her waist - I judge that her boobs are really long.

Seriously…I mean, my mom was a stay at home mom and good at Momming and all that, but I can’t conceive of her not cutting back a little to fix a broken bone.

I’ve worked in retail a long time. And you know what? People who are dressed like bogans generally (98% of the time) aren’t actually multimillionaires (or even well-off people) who just happen to like dressing like bogans. They’re people with minimal finances.

Now, that doesn’t mean you mentally write them off, because their money is as good as anyone elses, but it does mean that I’m not going to waste everyone’s valuable time showing them $2000 high end gaming laptops unless they specifically ask to see them.

I read that sweatpants and high heels are in. They go together like a nice dress and sneakers do.

Perhaps we pay too much attention to what the stars are wearing and not enough to just plain old looking presentable. I’m so glad the Carhart’s and work boots are out. People that don’t work dressed in construction worker wear as a fashion always seemed a bit sillly to me.

Where do you think jeans come from?

In other words, not at all.
