I should’ve known better I guess, but I succumbed and tried to discuss a scientific issue with someone who’s obviously in the thread to “get noticed.” Of coure, I’m referring to this thread.

I’m not complaining about the OP but rather the posts by the guest brazil84. In particular, post 39 showed that guest is here to just “get notice.”

Living overseas, I forget when the elementary schools back in the US take their breaks. Why, oh why does every school break in the US include ridiculous assertions about race posted here and then stupid circular “arguments” when one attempts to discuss it with the holidayer?

I’m a fan of yours, Monty. But what’s wrong with post 39? He’s right. Definitions prove nothing and aren’t falsifiable.

Liberal, read that post if you don’t mind. Do you not see in item #2 “as defined in #1?” He’s intentionally being a jerk.

As I just posted in the other thread, I obviously misspoke and should’ve said falsifiable hypothesis.

I would think it’s obvious that I misspoke given the wording I used for item #2.

FWIW, school here got out in mid-late May and will resume the first week of August. So assume you have a window of inanity stretching from mid-May until sometime after U.S. Labor day, although some Universities and Colleges reconvene even later than that, toward the end of September.

That really depends on the district. My nieces in Florida follow that schedule. When I was in school, we started after Labor Day, and finished in late June. I graduated high school on June 21.

All the schools around here got out last week or this week. (2 more days!)

Dang, I thought this’d be about that joker CJOK who has been all over GQ with threads like Moon Mystery. He comes across (to me, anyway) as a little kid looking for attention.
