Are there any conservative posters that post on a regular basis that have not had a BBQ Pit thread about them?
Honestly? I have no idea if I’ve ever been pitted. I almost never look at the Pit.
astorian, your name returns 0 results in a Pit search of thread titles. Could just be the search function.
If you’ve never been pitted, you’re not a true conservative.
Questions about the Board belongs in ATMB. Not knowing that deserves a pitting.
I’m probably not “conservative” enough to qualify.
Since I never visit the Pit, I would have no idea if I’ve been Pitted. Probably not controversial enough, sadly.

I feel like pitting is more a factor of newness or visibility than it is of political persuasion.
Qadgop, for example, has been pitted, and I can’t think of someone who would seem less likely:
I hate persecution Saturdays.
Has Sam Stone been pitted? SenorBeef used to be conservative, but then the party moved past him, I think.
Yeah, I suspect that having been Pitted is more a function of being a “regular” than of being a conservative.
Possibly. However, being conservative is pretty much a guarantee that you’ll be pitted.
Being an “asshole” also helps boost one’s odds, politics notwithstanding, present company of course excluded.
Bone is much more of a (small “l”) libertarian, but on this MB those are often lumped in with conservatives*, especially since he’s very strong on the 2nd amendment. I don’t recall him being Pitted before he became a mod. We can’t Pit mods, right?
*I’d put Sam Stone in more or less the same category, except he’s more on the hawkish side.
The nature of pitting is that the person’s screen name is going to appear in the thread title. It shouldn’t be THAT hard to search for.
Search by Keyword (option= search titles only): User Name
Search Options: Find Post from: Any Date / And Newer
Show results as: Threads
Search in Forums: The BBQ Pit
You can’t Pit mods for what they do as moderators. You are allowed to Pit them for what they say as posters.

Curious, do you look forum by forum then? Do you never just click New Posts? I use the New Posts and User CP buttons mostly to browse the Dope. So I see pit threads all the time with the New Posts link.
