This raises an interesting question… at what point does it become clear that the singling-out of your ideological peers as being particularly reprehensible is less a matter of persecution, but rather an indicator that, perhaps, the ideology you hold is reprehensible when taken at face value, and tends to attract horrible people?

I’ve never been pitted and I’ve never voted for a democrat for any office higher than governor.
There’s a bunch of low post volume conservatives that I’m guessing don’t post enough to bother folks enough to get their own pit thread. Names like Flyer and Algher come to mind, but I’m sure I could think of more if I put my mind to it.

If all you got was a “Fuck You” in your pit title, you got off easy and if this was hyperbole, it didn’t work.

Sam Stone was the name that jumped immediately to my mind, though I do know that he’s come in for enough verbal abuse in some threads that a Pitting at some point wouldn’t surprise me.

What’s all this about Sam Stone? He’s been pitted many many times, as a simple search would reveal. Not much lately, but then he’s cut back on posting lately.
The chairs are a little worn and there is the hint of cigar smoke around the place but the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere -------------- is interesting. 
I counted 5 Pit threads. There’s a 6th one in the Pit, but it was started in IMHO and moved to the Pit, so I didn’t count that one.
