Are there any popular songs about bisexuals and/or pansexuals?

Please, no iffy “Well, since they don’t specifically say whether Steve or Bobbie are male or female, I guess maybe…?” responses.

I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry

Lola by the Kinks.

Blur’s “Girls & Boys” is pretty pan-inclusive

Looking for girls who are boys who like boys to be girls
Who do boys like they’re girls, who do girls like they’re boys
Always should be someone you really love
Girls who are boys who like boys to be girls
Who do boys like they’re girls, who do girls like they’re boys
Always should be someone you really love

I am willing to be convinced otherwise, but that seems more like a straight girl kissing a lesbian just to knock something off her bucket list

I think it’s implied that the speaker in Green Day’s “Basket Case” is bisexual, as he seems to be unsure whether the prostitute he hired is male or female:

I went to a whore
He said my life’s a bore
So quit my whining 'cause it’s bringing her down

I’d go with bi-curious. It may have started out as just wanting to try it [I kissed a girl just to try it], but then she goes on to say she liked it [I kissed a girl and I liked it], she’s confused [My head gets so confused] about it but it ‘feels right’ [It felt so wrong It felt so right Don’t mean I’m in love tonight].

Ob La Di, Ob La Da. In the last verse, Desmond seems to be crossdressing.

Go back to 1995 for the Jill Sobule song, less shock value and more self exploration of her sexuality.

“Tango Maureen”, from Rent, is a duet by Maureen’s girlfriend and boyfriend (I think one of them is an ex, but I’m not sure which one).

Depending how you look at a throuple, David Crosby’s “Triad,” rejected by The Byrds but sung by Grace Slick of the Jefferson Airplane on Crown of Creation.

Also depending on how you look at it, neither one of the protagonists has ever been with a woman.

You beat me to mentioning it. Far better song.

Men Who Love Women Who Love Men - Steve Goodman

There are men who love women who love men
There are women who love women every now and then
There are men who love men because they can’t pretend
They are men who love women who love men

It’s mostly about gay men, but there’s a mix in there.

Gender expression in clothing doesn’t really have direct connection to sexuality, though, IMO.

Crossdressing is something else.

One could be bisexual withoutt having “been with” both sexes.

Technically true, but unless that is specifically referenced in the lyrics it could apply to anyone and everyone.

Lola is a special case because it can be read in so many ways. One of them is that the narrator didn’t understand his own sexual identity until he met Lola. Another is that the narrator thought he wasn’t interested in men until he met Lola. Yet another is that he was attracted to Lola as a woman until he made the realization. None of them are determinative of his current or future sexual identity. Absolute brilliant song.

Which puts that song in the “Maybe?” Category.

Another is that they were attracted to Lola and didn’t really care if they were a man or a woman.
