Are there songs about all the planets of our solar system?

There was a thread about space themed songs a while ago. But I’m interested about songs especially about our planets (and I include Pluto, I’m old fashioned that way). So here’s what I got:

Mercury:

Ok, I start by cheating. I don’t know a song about the planet, but at least a song about a car with its name: Steve Miller Band - Mercury Blues

Venus:

Ok, it’s weak, but I’m cheating again… Shocking Blue - Venus

Earth:

Ok, this is quite easy. I’ll choose Michael Jackson’s Earth Song (though I hate the song)

Mars:

Also easy: David Bowie - Life On Mars

Jupiter:

I don’t like this song either, but it’s the only one that comes to mind: Train - Drops Of Jupiter

Saturn:

Stevie Wonder - Saturn

For Uranus, Neptune and Pluto I’ve got nothing. Can you do better?

Does this count?

Gustav Holst’s The Planets suite, with each movement named after a planet of the Solar System, should be mentioned.

For Uranus, there’s “Rocket to Uranus” by Vengaboys & Perez Hilton.

I just knew that the “Uranus” examples would include the usual pun :D.

Pink Floyd’s “Astronomy Domine” mentions Neptune specifically, along with Jupiter and Saturn…

Aquarius
Galt MacDermot

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

As Walken’s cite points out, there have been “PLuto” additions to Holst’s Planet’s suite, including one by Leonard Bernstein.

Christine Lavin has been a big supporter of Pluto, ever since it was downgraded to a planetoid. She went as far as to sell booklets about it on her website. Her song Planet X (from “Shining my flashlight on the Moon”) is dedicated to Pluto:

Holst’s The Planets was an influence on the Star Wars soundtrack. Here’s Holst’s “Mars” accompanied by Star Wars footage.

Venus and Mars/Rock Show by Paul McCartney and Wings.

Jimi Hendrix’s “Valleys of Neptune,” though it’s weak because I think he’s singing about the Roman deity. Still, you take what you can get.

Uranus:

The movie “Journey to the Seventh Planet” (1962) has an outro song in some versions. In others, it’s just an instrumental, but in some it has words. But the title of it is “Journey to the Seventh Planet.”

Pluto Drive– The Creatures

Venus entry: TMBG - “For Science”, though it references the (supposed) population more than the planet itself

I will date the girl from Venus
Flowers die and so will I
Yes, I will kiss the girl from Venus for science

Translation:

Prism, “Spaceship Superstar.” From the lyrics:

On Mercury, they’re crazy about my stellar rock ‘n’ roll,
And I always sell out in advance at the Martian Astrobowl,
The fans, they swarm like meteorites to our concerts on the Moon,
You should have seen us knock 'em dead on Venus doing all our favorite tunes…

Okay, the Moon isn’t a planet, but it’s part of our solar system, so why not bold it as long as Prism is singing about other real planets?
