Huh? Theres no point in arguing this, but this leaves me scratching my head.
To the extent this is an insinuation, it’s an insinuation about the Pit. I don’t know or care whether you with the face had any intention of Pitting me.
It is my view that name calling, The Official Sport Of The Pit, is indeed the last refuge of the tired mind. you with the face, Hippy Hollow, you or anyone else is not constrained in any way in attacking my argument in GD. They can attack my words here with profanity, parody, sarcasm, wit, logic, and reasoning. They can eviscerate me if they’d like.
They just can’t attack me.
So to translate my words to you with the face, the Pit offers you nothing that you couldn’t already do here…except personal attacks. you with the face has held his own, and should express his displeasure here.
Raindog, I agree with you to the extent that I think it’s reasonable to surmise YWTF wanted to use profanity or some other prohibited language. But, while I can’t speak for Tom, I think what he was officially objecting to was your assumption that the only reason why YWTF would want to do this was because he (or she) has a “tired mind”. A possible alternative is that YWTF perhaps thought that it would be more effective to communicate with you in some prohibited manner rather than go on trying to reach you via the means that are open to us in this forum.
