Are you graduating? Then get in here and celebrate!

I graduate on Saturday, with a BA in English, minor in Women’s Studies. I’m taking a year off and then on to grad school. I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself now that it’s over (for now), but I’m pretty damn excited.

So who else is graduating this semester? What’s your degree and major? Future plans?

I too am graduating this Saturday, but it’s a BA in Sociology for me. I’m going to work for a year or two and then hopefully go to grad or perhaps law school. I’m terrified and sad and nostalgic for two weeks ago. I want booze.

I graduate a week from Saturday! I’m so excited and am throwing a huge party (nearly as big as my wedding).

I’m graduating a week from Saturday with a BS (International Management). I’m going to start on my MBA in September. My wife is going to throw a party for me in a couple weeks (Memorial Day weekend).

I will be lined up to graduate later this summer in August, with a Masters in Aviation Management. I will not walk during the graduation ceremony though, 'cause I’ll have left and immediately started my next school by August 13th. Once I graduate that class, I’ll be done with school for awhile.

Yup. The academic life. But at least my August start date is for a school that is much more practical–Explosive Ordnance Disposal.

Tripler
Yup, gotta square away my Masters before the Bomb Squad.

I’ll be graduating on Saturday with a BA in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration. I won’t be walking because I don’t really care, and I will be going on a road trip to Texas for no reason.

Graduating in August with a BA in International Studies. Starting a MA program next fall. Yeah, I need a break after my consecutive 16/17/20 credit semesters + full time job.

I graduated in 2004, but I wanted to say Go You! for the BA in English. I switched from Computer Science to English and haven’t had any problems getting a job.

Bachelor of Arts in psychology this Saturday.

More undergrad classes starting this summer in preparation for graduate school, applying this fall/winter.

I hear ya - I was working full-time and taking 16 credits each semester for the last two years, which is why I’m taking a whole year off before grad school. Full-time work + full-time school is not for the faint of heart (or for those who wish to have a social life).

Graduating on the 19th with a BA of Psychology, assuming final exams go ok ::stress::

I’m trying to get my way over to Japan, most likely through teaching English. I want to work my way into international business. My Japanese speaking/listening comprehension is very high, but I’ve been turned down from two English-teaching jobs already, most likely because Im not “American enough.” I’d rant more, but this is supposed to be a celebration. Graduation…huzzah… I mean…huzzah!!

Graduating on Saturday, B.Mus in music composition, minors in French and Spanish.

I’m planning to go to grad school for musicology, but I’m taking a year off first, so I need to find a job. I’ve sort of been looking, but not as much as I should be.

Other goals for the next year include learning German (which I’ll need for grad school) and reading lots of books.

Graduated last Saturday with an AAS in nursing. Next up, review course for the NCLEX, taking the NCLEX and finding a job in a med-surg unit. Or something.

I’d certainly like to join in. Pending grade, I finish my Masters in Comp Science (actually finished the class monday though!!!)

Nor the fans of sanity. But I’ve actually been really surprised at what sort of schedule I can handle. It was surprising, and I just got my grades back for this semester. 4 A’s and 3 B’s. I’m pretty proud of myself, honestly. I didn’t think I could do it sometimes.

Graduating May 21 with an MPH (master’s in public health) in molecular epidemiology, assuming I pass one more class. I’m sad to graduate - I’ve really enjoyed this graduate program, and like school in general. Now I just need a job…

Rage!!

3.50 at UGA is considered cum laude. I just got my final GPA report – 3.49. Dangit!

OH. MY. OG. I somehow got an A- out of a class I expected C+ / B- out of. Finishing my masters with a 3.59!!! I’m done!

Graduating on Mother’s Day with a BA in History. Looks like I’m going to get hired around Wednesday, then into an Indy apartment soon afterwards. Woo!

I’m not graduating this weekend, but I did just pass my Series 24 test today, which is a test for licensed principal (managers) in the securities industry. Yea for me!
