Anyone ever been asked this? When I was in college, I was once asked “Are you cool?” And I was like “sure” and then was asked, “No, I mean, are you Kool, like, with a ‘K’?” I had no idea what was being asked. Aparently, this individual was asking if I used drugs, in this case, smoked pot.

Is this a standard way to ask this? Has anyone ever heard this before?
