I biked to work today, which is like celebrating Earth Day on socialist time.
Yep. I did a thing or three.
I went out with the Audubon Society and we found a bird (yellow throated warbler) that must have had something wrong with its navigational sense, as it was about 900 miles out of its normal range (that would be east Texas–we saw it in central NM.) We got some pictures and informed the Cornell Ornithology Lab of our finding.
I don’t know that this helped the planet any, however.
And I did mention to the clerk at the store and a customer in line that the day was Lenin’s 140th birthday. They weren’t too inclined to celebrate, but then again, neither is Lenin.
I thought I was the only one who did that. On the times I actually remember to put them back into my trunk, I forget to bring them into the store. :smack:
On the plus side, I re-use the plastic bags for emptying my cats litterbox.
