I suppose it would’ve been asking too much to hope Matt Lauer would press her on which of Obama’s socialist policies she likes the least.

I watched 30 minutes or so while getting ready for work and the entire time, Lauer was giving her shit. Just constant digs and jabs. One such example:

Toward the end of the interview, Lauer asked his soon-to-be temporary partner a pointed question: Should the Republican nominee this year choose a running mate with more experience than Palin had in 2008?

“I would say it doesn’t matter if that person has national-level experience or not,” Palin answered. “They’re gonna get clobbered by the lamestream media who does not like the conservative message.” Lauer thanked her for appearing, adding that she’d be back as host in Today‘s 8 a.m. hour, “which technically makes you part of the lamestream media for that hour.”

The little bit I caught was entertaining as hell, just because Lauer couldn’t even pretend to hide his absolute loathing of Palin.

Lamestream media is just about the dumbest thing she has ever said which means it breaks the dumb scale into tiny shards.

Not seein’ it. I sincerely do not find her attractive.

For me, it’s all psychological. I don’t find her hot, but I do think Tina Fey and Julianne Moore are smokin’, smokin’ hot. And they aren’t really parodying her looks when they enact her - they really look like her. So it’s got to the bias I have - that bristling sensation when I recognize Sarah Palin is because of her proud, sunshiny ignorance-is-strength philosophy, and not because she’s objectively unattractive.
