Are you ticklish?

The correct response is to give them this real crazy look and say “I dunno, are you flammable?”

Hehehehe…now that’s one I must remember.

Welcome to the boards. I’m not sure why you chose this forum, but I am moving this thread to MPSIMS.

I am absolutely not ticklish. I laugh at those who try to tickle me…

Actually, in some ways it’s sort of worse. For those of us who don’t enjoy it at all, you might as well be threatening to hit and taking a mock-swing that you don’t intend to connect. YMMV and all that jazz, but I’ve always found people who do the “pretend” thing are just looking for an excuse to actually tickle because they’re just totally sure I’m not telling the truth about how unpleasant I find being tickled. Or they’re patronizing me because they think I’m stupid not to enjoy being tickled. In either case, they can blow it out their ass

Sometimes I’m ticklish and sometimes I’m not. It depends. And I don’t know what it depends on. It’s as capricious as my bad hair days.

My SO is extremely ticklish, to the point that sometimes I don’t actually have to tickle him to get a “ticklish response.” The mere threat of it is enough to get him going as if I had already begun.

And yes, I do enjoy tickling him. He has a great yelping belly-laugh that just makes me all giggly. He knows I enjoy tickling him so he allows it most of the time.

Sometimes he doesn’t, and I respect that. And if he’s had enough, he can say so and I’ll cease and desist.

Tickling can be torture. I understand this. Which is why I only tickle when I’m “allowed.”

Why the hell does tickling tickle, anyway?? What’s the PURPOSE of being “tickle-able?” And could a person ever be tickled to the point that they’re desensitized to it?
