Are you watching the Miss USA pageant right now?

It seems to have broken out of the mold of trying to be about anything but beauty. And I’m loving it. The swimsuits are realistic bikinis, instead of the Miss America tanks.
And the contestants aren’t making up phoney pasts. They admit to being models, actressess and stewardesses. This is so much more honest than pretending it’s all a “scholarship competition”.

I caught 5 minutes and switched it off.
All those stupid views where they shoot from below the stage make my head swim. Worse than the “hand held” camera look.
How would Ebert rate it? A lot of action, but no plot :smiley:
