There seem to be quite a few science fiction fans, and also quite a few Boston-area Dopers. In case the two sets intersect, I’d like to point out that Arisia, one of the two or three big Boston-area science fiction conventions, meets this weekend at the Park Plaza in Boston. Mrs. Cal (Pepper Mill) and I will be there, with our daughter in tow. Even if you’re not into sf, it’s agreat place to pick up unbelievably clever buttons and T-shirts, not to mention odd art. Should anyone show up, I’ll be checking the Message Board under “C” (for CalMeacham, of course).
