Arnie's Running.

At least the Democrats have only 1 candidate in each part of the ballot, so their infighting is at least contained. The challengers are eating their own already, it sez here. Ahnuld may be a vote-getter or he may not, but the mainline GOP organization is apparently gelling around the idea that he’s actually a liberal and must be destroyed.

In other news, the Game Show Network will present its new production, Who Wants to be Governor of California?, with contestants including Gary “Whatchoo talkin’ bout, Arnold?” Coleman and porn star Mary “Gray Davis sucks! Oh wait, I do” Carey.

I heard Arnie’s fiscally conservative and socially liberal, which I believe translates into pro-business, pro-social services, anti-tax increase, pro-choice, and pro-environment. He’s also reportedly a close friend of Richard Riordan, which ought to give some clue as to where his political thinking lies. (how much of a clue is another matter).

I believe Cruz Bustamonte will be releasing a plan soon.

Thanks, rjung. I tried Googling for Arnold’s positions, but most of the hits seemed to be saying that nobody knows.

Has Gray Davis ever mentioned what he intends to do about the budget crisis?

Regards,
Shodan

He may be anti-tax increase but Warren Buffett is a big part of his campaign team, and Buffett has been a huge critic of Bush’s “feed the rich” tax reduction…

Enough about Arnie. What are Gary Coleman’s stands on the issues?!

He has to stand on the issues to get up to the microphone.

Boo! Short joke! Boo!

Okay, I’ll admit that it is funny.

Bill Simon has dropped out of the race. This will help Arnold a little but there are still two other Republicans left who seem to be staying put. Meanwhile the latest LA Times poll shows that Gary Davis has a decent shot at staying as governor.
