Arnold has come out with another speech in which he talks about his love of Russia; his own perspective, as the child of a Wehrmacht veteran, on the invasion of Ukraine; & how the Russian people are being lied to by those in the Kremlin who are leading the invasion. I hear this kind of thing is a part of Ukraine’s propaganda response.
I don’t know if it will land with a Russian audience, but I appreciate him trying.
Well he put out a similar message on January 11 about Trump, I don’t believe it landed well with the Republicans.

That was a wonderful essay. I sure hope it reaches his targeted audience, for all the good it may do.
I’ve still got some emotional reservations toward Arnold, but he has become a reliable good guy — speaking out against Trump, for vaccines, and working against climate change.
His message to the Russian people about Ukraine sets the facts out simply and logically. It’s also personal and emotionally affecting. The nine-minute runtime flies right by. Give a listen.
They mentioned on the evening news that Putin follows Arnold on Twitter.
Maybe he will see it - or is Twitter blocked in Russia?
The Russian government has banned Twitter in their country. Putin of course, would not personally be subject to such a ban.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised again by Ahnold. He speaks from the heart and with experience of the aftermath of war. He seems to know how to address the Russians without blame or judgment, which is no small feat. AFAICT the message has been received positively by the Russians so far. Love this example of a man.
Agreed. The Ukrainians are not the Russian people’s enemy. Vladimir Putin is the Russian people’s enemy. I agree strongly with the former Governator.
