(Didn’t see a thread on this)
Can we do one thread per episode? Some people may blast through in one marathon session, but I would probably take it slower, and don’t want to be spoiled.
What does everyone think?
I think we should do multiple threads about how we should handle what do do WRT a thread per episode or one thread for the whole season. (IOW, we’ve already done this).
My vote is one thread per episode, no spoilers, it’s your own stupid fault if you read that episodes thread before you watch the show.
I’m willing to compromise and do one episode per character to cut down on the number of threads since people are worried about ‘cluttering up CS’. Personally, I don’t really care if it clutters anything up. After a week or two, they’ll fall off the first page.
I HATE those threads that get to me thousands of posts long. After the first few hundred posts new people aren’t going to read the whole thing and it’s just going to start going around in circles anyways with people jumping in and the end saying “I haven’t read the whole thing…[so here’s something that’s already been said].”
There’s a recent thread here somewhere (with a poll) about this very topic.
Even if there are individual episode threads, I think there should also be one big, open-spoilers thread for the folks who binge-watch it.
I think I suggested that as well, especially since they’ll, likely, overlap with each other and that’ll be a good way to discuss that.
I’m thinking the best thing to do is just start watching and then see what happens.
My other suggestion, and I know it wouldn’t fly on this board, but it would stop the ‘clutter’ was to start a temporary AD forum, let us have our fun in that forum, however we want and then after it dies down, release the threads to the bowels of CS to pop up as zombies from time to time.
I’ve been getting myself all fired up for this by watching some of my favorite clips on YouTube, especially if it involves Lucille!!!
