Whilst surfing at work, I stumbled across paintings by Oscar Knudsen, originals, in a series on the Norse Gods.
Beautiful.
And all they had were high-priced originals! :smack:
Are there books/posters/prints by/on this guy available?

Anything?
Even a link about the guy?
Something?
Bueller?
It’s more visible in the ebay sale.
Per the sale I do wonder how can you own an original painting and not have publication rights to it?
As a former artist and graphic artist, I can tell you that’s common.
One circus print available through art.com, but not much else. Illustration House doesn’t carry him, and Heritage Auctions don’t have any of his works, and they’re the most likely places in my experience. Watch eBay, I suppose.
Not sure if this is the same Oscar Knudsen, but here’s an article about a Dutch cartoonist of that name. It mentions that, after the war, he had trouble getting work because of some links he had with Nazi collaborators, so a lot of his post-war work was under pseudonyms. If it is the same guy, that might explain why you’re having trouble finding prints of his work.
Ouch.
I suspect that is it.
