Hi guys! As Staind would say, it’s been awhile. Lots of stuff going on that I won’t get into.
Anyway, I have a question that I knew you Dopers could answer. Is there a way to get a print of a certain painting? I’ve exhausted the Internet and can’t find a print of the peice I’m looking for, which is de la Tour’s “The Penitent Magdalene”.
God, this is going to sound so stupid but–is there a way I can request or special order an art print?

Well these people will apparently paint you a reproduction of “The Penitent Magdalene” in oil on canvas.
Alternatively, I’d contact the Met Store, since the original painting is held by the Met. It’s not listed in their catalog, but if anyone could tell you how you could purchase a print, it would be them.
I saw the oil reproduction joint. I just want a paper print. Thank you for the Met Store link, though! There’s lots of stuff there that I like.

The Met Store is so disappointing. They’d rather sell posters from a 1992 traveling exhibition than of the art they actually own.
