I have heard that there is some type of Italian liqour made from artichokes. Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? Has anyone ever tried it? Where can I find some?
The only artichoke flavored beverage i have ever seen is called cynar. The link Ethilrist found has it half way down the page. I found it at http://www.chamberswineandliquor.com for about $5 less than Ethilrist’s link. I have nevewr had the guts to try this, but my roommates have and they all say that it is awful. You should be able to find it at a local liquor store if the store has a large enough selection. you may also be able to have them order it for you.
