I missed it, but I’m sure I’ll hear it on the replay. Did anyone catch it live?

Godd riddance, and six years too late- maybe they’ll replace him with someone equally unfunny and untalented like Jim Breuer. But of course he’ll come back, who else is going to pay him that much money to do nothing but be a drunken oaf?
To me, he’s just like Jackie was - sometimes funny, but far better as an object of ridicule.

Definitely, but Jackie was actually quick, funny, and witty- Artie’s just some drunken schmoe.
I missed it too, but will keep channel 100 on the rest of the day today for sure!

He’ll be back. Howard loves Artie and is fascinated by him, and I think a lot of the younger fans listen as much for Artie as they do for Stern. Although I think the show is usually just as good without him, he has contributed great things. The pig story, getting jizzed on, rapping that Biggie song, getting the airhorn when he falls asleep, innumerable one-liners, etc. Jackie was only good as a target of ridicule. Artie isn’t the funniest guy in the world but he is a great storyteller and very human.
He’s a great story teller, it’s true, and I love when he does the Godfather word-for-word. Robin was right, they should have brought him to rehab while he was asleep yesterday.
I like Artie Lange.
But I listen to O&A, because Jim Norton is smarter and funnier.

First of all, Jim Norton is about as funny as a cooking show on NPR - which is to say he’s 10 times funnier than Opie and Anthony - and second of all the thread is about Artie Lange. His opinion was not asked for or wanted.
I’m pissed- I’m all ready to hear the 2nd replay, and they’re playing the lead-in music from Monday’s show. Guess I missed it.
There’s no rundown on the website yet, either. Guaranteed listener demand will have them replaying this show soon. They’re not going to bury it.
They replayed the fight with Sal after it happened- why not this one?
Maybe they think its so good they’re going to make it pay per listen?
