And very large hips and thighs. Assuming she’s tall (5’9+) like most models, she’s 200.
I’m actually a BBW kind of guy, but those woman are just not attractive. I’m more in line with what ducati posted a link too…now SHE was definitely hot. But as others have said, BBW are hardly a new or radically challenging thing…I’ve seen pictures of such women as far back as pictures of porn or nudity exist, and there is a huge following for such things on the net…even fetishes for women as large as those in your OP.
Her name is Ashley Graham, size 16. The only weight I’ve found for her says 130-140.
I don’t think so. I’ll give her 180 or so.
And I’d do her.
Yeah I’m 5’10" weigh 130 now, and I’m skinny. I weighed 160 at 9 months pregnant and was nowhere near her size. That’s a big girl. Gorgeous with perfect curves though. I’d do her, too.
Internet lies about weight all of the time. There is absolutely no way that woman weighs 130 lbs unless she is 5’2". She’s an attractive woman, sure, but assuming she’s 5’9" or so, 200 lbs sounds about right.
In any event, those photos linked in the OP are supposed to challenge my ideas of beauty? How? Good grief.
For some reference, the girl in this video is a very open Youtube vlogger who is 198 lbs (she’s showed her scale on camera). She’s 5’4’’ and a plus size lingerie model (so, not a REAL model because she’s too short, but she does model fetish lingerie). The model in the LB ad is much more toned and flat stomached than this girl is and, likely, much taller because she’s a “real” model. I would bet the LB model is closer to 180, but that’s neither here nor there.
Youtube video of the vlogger (a girl dancing in a bikini, making fun of a similar video done by model Kate Upton. I think it’s SFW, but obviously if your work isn’t keen on you watching girls dancing in bikinis, watch it later).
Ah, here’s another videowhere she’s talking about being fatin another bikini. No dancing this time, though.
She’s a cutie, too. Overweight people wear fat differently; some retain that desirable hip to waist ratio. My best friend is quite overweight and her body is obscenely shaped, kind of like the model in this video. Busty with a huge round butt and small waist, flattish stomach. She dresses modestly, but because of her figure she attracts the worst attention from men of all ages which embarrasses her greatly.
But she, like the last two models, is merely overweight, and a doctor might warn them of impending troubles, but none of these recent examples come close to the OP. The women pictured on HuffPo just makes me sad and angry on behalf of medical care professionals who may have to help them someday.
Oh, absolutely. I meant to juxtapose her to the Lane Bryant model and obviously not the folks in the OP who, at a minimum, have 250 lbs on her.
No matter how artistic the photos, there is no way that a 600 lb. woman can be attractive (except to fetishists). That’s not challenging a standard of beauty; it’s denying that it exists.
Maybe the women in the photos are very nice people. But they are not attractive.

Shodan
sometimes showing a little skin can be erotic.
That’s not a little skin.
Their hair and makeup is nicely done. It’s as if someone put Barbie’s head on the Michelin man’s body.
I don’t know if I find those photos beautiful, but I also don’t find them disgusting. I think they just make me feel kind of sad.
I’m visually not much heavier than her and I currently weigh around 220. It’s plausible that’s she’s way over 160. My fittest (and thinnest, which was smaller than her) adult weight was 170.
My body is somewhere between the girls in the OP and the lingerie girls in the videos, and the pictures in the OP don’t make me feel good or different about anything at all.
You can be smart and fun and have good hair and nice skin and even be considered “sexy” while being quite overweight, but just because your clothes are off it doesn’t make you sexy.
Those girls look gross naked. I’m gross naked. There’s tons of awesome stuff about me and even some awesome stuff about my body but super fat bodies are just not sexy. No one should have to pretend that they are.
I want to be 200lbs again. I was so cute at a size 16-18. I am now 250lbs and pregnant, so I don’t feel as cute.
Was in a group next to hers last year. She’s about 5’ 9", maybe 5’ 10" and 170 at the most. She’s fit, not flabby. Her weight is packed fairly solid.
I find it disturbing that in the rush not to judge, we forget that these women most likely have some severe health problems. That’s not beauty – although some of them very well could be so if they weren’t horrendously overweight. That’s frightening – not because it’s disgusting, but because of the consequences of being so fat.
Huh? We’re judging the shit out of the models and the photog. They may be awesome people, but we’re taking in the physician’s eye view of serious physical and emotional illness here. I’m aware of fat fetishists, and these gals may be popular in that scene, but for the general media consumer this seems more like exploitation than art to me.
I’m looking at these photos from an aesthetic sense, and I personally don’t like the lighting, composition, backgrounds, anything. It’s not the subject that disturbs me–I just don’t think these are very good photographs, speaking as a photographer.
