Without looking it up, I believe it was because the 2001 Ryder Cup was scheduled for September, but was postponed to 2002 following 9/11. I assume the fact we may go back to odd numbered years next year triggered this question.

How does the person who correctly answers a question know that they correctly answered the question and that, therefore, they should ask the next one?
Miami is at 80.12 W. Piura, Peru, is just inland at 80.something. Goole maps knows more about Starbucks than aboug longitude.

jtur88 is correct with their second answer, it is indeed Florida. I guess Googling to check (or in this case, looking at a globe or map) is better than waiting for the question poser to confirm, at least that’s how I assume it should work.
