Whatever happened to image comics? I stopped collecting about ten years ago, when image was just over a year old. Is the company still going? Other posters have mentioned Rob Liefeld. What happened to him?
I bought a lot of the titles to start with and I thought quite a few of them showed potential, but were just too slow moving to keep me interested. Are the following still going? If not, what happened?
Cyberforce
Codename: Strykeforce
Wild C.A.T.S.
P.I.T.T.
Savage Dragon
Are any of their creators still working on these books? Did they end up back at marvel or DC?
What happened in Spawn? There used to be a count down thing every time he used his power. Did it ever get to zero?

SNL did a great “JLA”- type party. All I can quote now is Belushi (colored green – with purple pants?) coming out of the john: “You don’t wanna go in there right away.” Wonder Woman and others: “Phew! Gross!”
Yes. It was amazingly good, and very respectful, while staying true to the characters. Oddly, I was expecting… something a bit more Frank Miller on Supermanish.
Say, how many “What If?” comics has Marvel published, to date? And is there an up to date online list of them, with brief plot descriptions, preferably?
Well IMO the “What If” comic series was pretty bad but I did have two favorites though both written by Frank Miller (Dark Knight Returns, Sin City).
The first one was “What If Matt Murdock became an agent of SHIELD”. That was in What If#28 and it was pretty good and centered around Murdock joining SHEILD instead of becoming Daredevil.
The second one is “What If Elektra had Lived?” That was in What If #35 and it showed what the relationship between Daredevil and Elektra would have been like if Elektra survived her fight with Bullseye (well they brought her back for real some time later but at this time no one expected to see her back).
The best thing you can do is get “Elektra Lives Again” (also by Miller) which was a “What If” tale even though it didn’t come out under that banner. It’s about if Elektra resurrected and how she fights Bullseye in a rematch to the death and it shows her final farewell to Daredevil in a very touching scene.
An obscure couple of questions for y’all who seem to know a lot more about comics than I:
I used to have a mini-series (seven issues, I think) called Nemesis the Warlock. It was from an indy publisher, IIRC. The artist’s style was pretty distinctive. Does anyone remember this series and/or this artist ?
I also used to get a comic called Ex-Mutants (another indy). I seem to recall that the artist went on t more mainstream stuff, but I can’t remember him, either.
Anyhow, if you guys can help, I’d be appreciative.
