Ask the man who evades the question

Hello all. I apologize for my absence from this thread over the last few days. I have been involved in high-level discussions that required my full attention, which, coincidentally, touched upon this exact issue.

Dihydrogen monoxide proponents would have us believe that it is as benign as water. But then, what of dioxygen, or the whole pnictogen group?

Are we to blithely dismiss the lessons learned from investigations into fissile nuclides and their attendant horrors?

Or, might it not be more profitable to re-examine the entire Periodic Table and determine, once and for all, whether the truths therein which define the family values, manifest destiny, and our national spirit, confirm or merely support American Exceptionalism?

Perhaps this is how we can bridge the gap between faith and jingoism, and science and rational thinking.

It is likely to be a long, hard row to hoe, and ultimately fruitless. But that is what keeps Think Tanks, PACS, lobbyists, politicians, and yours truly, in business.

And in the end, aren’t we the only ones plowing this field?
