There are tell tale signs but mostly I know the guys who shoot for me and even if they did take it before the shoot i might not know but bringing it on set isnt allowed. Im relative confident that my guys dont use it and probably wouldnt risk this gig, it doesnt pay much but the fringe benefits are incredible LOL
Thats a hot button issue right now but my stance has always been pro choice. I have them on set and if the girl prefers to use them we do, no problem and it hasn’t been an issue in terms of my sales.
If one looks at Wicked Pictures, they are an all condom company and they consistently have movies in the top ten sales and rentals worldwide.

How “security aware” would you say the industry is? Do people running adult sites spend a lot of time and effort trying to protect their sites? Do you discuss the problems of information security at industry events? I am thinking of a couple of threats specifically. Criminals will often try to get malware-delivering ads placed on legitimate sites (adult or otherwise, although adult sites are notorious for it). Is this something you deal with routinely or worry about much?
We deal with that shit daily but we have gotten pretty good at it, if you recall a recent study showed that adult sites were far less likely to deliver malware than religious sites. A large portion of my day is spent making sure the sites are up and running and havent been breached, I use a lot of security measures to prevent that. We also protect our content, delivering DMCA Takedown notices making sure passwords havent been hacked and such. We have big webmaster trade shows and seminars every couple of months and these are always topics of seminars and discussions.
**Also, I often see lists of compromised credentials for adult sites posted online. Do you see a lot of attempts to compromise your user database? Do you spend a lot of time dealing with compromised user accounts?

There are attempts to be sure but most of us have security measures in place to prevent these type of things and to notify us of anything suspicious.

It hasn’t happened except when it comes to my blog posts and information that I may have about a certain person in the industry or a certain event my mikesouth site is much more likely to draw inquiries. I handle these rare events on a case by case basis I once helped Atlanta Police for example with a child pornography case, but in general I will not disclose any information on any person who shoots for me or sends me info for mikesouth site without a court order and even then I would most likely fight it on the grounds of protecting a source. I hope this makes sense. Mikesouth site is op-ed and porn news and info not a member site. My member sites this has never been an issue.

in general it was expensive to shoot on film so there was an economic reason to keep the scenes relativelt brief. Now days porn studios want the DVD to come in at a minimum of 2 hrs 20 minutes and thats basically why it costs them the same to press a DVD9 whether its 2 hrs or 4 hrs

Pregnancy almost never happens most girls are on BC and most creampies shots are faked anyway, I cant think of a single girl who got pregnant on set, it probably has happened but it wouldnt become public knowledge.
I am now testing for STDs prior to every shoot but nothing is foolproof…I have been very lucky in that I have never ever had an STD or crabs or anything transmitted on one of my sets (knocking on wood) part of that is diligence and careful screening but theres gotta be some luck in there too.
First, I find out that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are fakes. Now I find out creampie shots are, too. :eek: When will it end?
By the way, if you can tell, what is used to simulate the “filling”? Might be good for a practical joke or two at work…

Oh Boy…funny you mention the FSC. I have had a long running battle with them because they are irresponsible, unaccountable bumbling morons. Three times I have had the police visit my set, never even given a ticket (knock on wood) they basically were responding to noise request, a parking issue or in one case an anon tip that I was shooting an underage girl (I would NEVER EVER do that) In the last case they checked IDs and left and said carry on…On the noise one the cop asked Lisa Sparxxx for an autograph before leaving.
I am aware of my situation here in Atlanta so I have taken measures to make sure that the local politicos have no real reason to screw with me. I help the police here when they have needed it and I don’t advertise for talent in the local papers or anything like that. I do fade in and out as a local celebrity from time to time I guess, when the paper does a bit on me or when my friend Neal Boortz has me on his show, then it seems everyone wants an interview and I do it because its fun and entertaining but I try to do it in a manner that is not combative to the local authorities.

Its happened 3 times in 20+ years and the last time was over ten years ago so im getting better at weeding them out I think.

In the VHS and DVD days I leased my content to a manufacturers rep who sold it to a distributor who sold it to a retailer who sold it to you. I got 75% of the price paid by the distributor. Slow pays and no pays were very common, I had one distributor owe me 8K for 360+ days then when they finally paid the check bounced…so did the next and the next finally the forth one cleared.
Thats why I went to the internet, I make more and you as a customer get a better deal as well…everyone is happy but the rep and the distributor and the retailer
