I’m an incredibly bored person with a mental defect that causes me to delight in derailing other people’s conversations for the purpose of making the discussion about myself and my own personal dislike for paying taxes using absurd analogies. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind it too terribly if I thrust myself into the middle of this particular topic, and dropped a turd in your collective punch bowls, so I could feel just the faintest hint of not being completely irrelevant. I mean, if we found out that Mitt Romney owned 218 bicycles and some poor homeless guy really, really needed one but couldn’t begin to afford one, I might support a bike theft program to see that those needs were addressed. Of course, it’s probably more efficient to arrange for this through some one-stop shopping program, like say a federal income-tax program, so you wouldn’t need to set up another federal bureaucracy to be administered separately, but what do I know?
