Star Trek TOS has been rebooted, might check those movies out if you’re interested,
Ever since Disney bought Star Wars, the quality of the writing and casting/acting for those movies has nose dived, avoid Rogue One, it is utterly Disneyfied garbage written for the sake of Star Wars Lore fanboys with ALL the Disney racial/ethnic stereo types and production values for some of the animated bits you would expect to see in a show from the 70s or 80s, just a terrible movie and not entertaining at all. However the Force Awakens is an entertaining bit of mindless fun in the Star Wars universe designed to somewhat tie up loose ends from Return of the Jedi, introduce the next generation of characters and set the story going into the future again instead of the past.
lets see, somebody already recommended the 4th Mad Max movie, (definitely an excellent show)
Sin City, and Sin City, A Dame To Kill For. Good shows worth watching
