I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read his stuff and wanted to stand up and yell, “Exactly!” but this time, he did it with the most important issue of all - Star Wars.
I used to respect Lileks. I wonder if he’s been eating his 50s recipes and they went to his brain.
I would almost agree with him, except that all the wretched loveydovey scenes made me want to blow my groceries.
I was a bit underwhelmed by Clones, but then again I haven’t seen Episode I yet, so that may have something to do with it.
I did like the opening scene with the spaceship that looked like a flying wing. Hell, even the engines sounded like propellers. A nice touch I thought.
Still, Spider-man was better.
