At the library!

Anyone remember a public service announcement TV ad from the early 1990s that concluded with the bassotastic phrase “At the library.” ? The basic gist of the ad was that the library is such a cool place, you should go and hang out there.

I’m trying to find the text of the ad because I can’t remember any other dialogue than the ending, and it’s driving me nuts. I think there was music in the background of the ad too. There may or may not have been california raisins, though I hesitate to mention that as it may be a red herring.

Could this be related to the American Library Association’s @ Your Library campaign? I’m not sure that this campaign has been going since the early 1990s, but the ALA would quite likely hae had some involvement in earlier public service campaigns.

Did it feature the line “at the library…you can read a book, at the library!”? I vaguely remember it, but can’t help you with the text.

Yes! I think that’s the one. I guess I wasn’t hallucinating after all. :stuck_out_tongue:
