If you mean, ‘‘voluntary intercourse,’’ then I was 23, on my wedding night.
For the purposes of this survey I defined ‘‘virginity’’ as not having had voluntary intercourse. In which case I was 23, on my wedding night.

I think I was 22. Didn’t date at all in high school was was to naive through college. After I got home I got involved with one of my female friends and a different one (neither liked each other) got jealous. Rest is history. A short history unfortunately.

Missed edit window - I also define it as voluntary sexual intercourse - not consensual oral and not forcible intercourse. So yes, I was young but not because I am defining it by some time of molestation. Also, I was not molested in any way to start me out young.
I was 15, she was 16. She left me later because she didn’t believe I was telling the truth about her being my first.
That was “fall back” day for Daylight Savings that year. I know because I got married the day before and inadvertently set the clock forward before going to bed that night, and so woke up on the 28th at what was really 5 a.m. when we had meant to wake up at 7 a.m. Which gave us some time we hadn’t really had the night before to consummate. Which means I f&cked a married lady for the first time that day.
Female. I lost mine two weeks before my 18th birthday, so I don’t feel that the option of 16-17 is accurate in any way. I picked 18-19. Now 20-some years later I’m glad I waited that long- no way was I emotionally ready for it before that.

For me it was either my 17th birthday or a week before. I don’t know if the first attempt “counted”. It just wouldn’t go in and we finally gave up trying for right then. Didn’t anybody else have that experience? The next time it worked but was quite painful and several times after that. I had always heard of the FIRST time hurting, so that was an unwelcome surprise.
19, will be 20 late next month. Never lost mine for various reasons, not the least of which being it wouldn’t be nice to subject someone to myself and that’s kind of necessary for it to happen. I’m also not sure if I got to the point that I’d physically be able to really do it to any reasonable capacity, but explaining that probably goes far past the boundaries of TMI.
I’m 24, and I voted “Never”. Sometimes I feel like I’m the last guy on earth who truly wants to wait until he’s married. Fortunately, I still have some female friends who feel that way…
