On oassion, a weird thing happens with my omputer. Every time I press the “(k, s)” key, a wizard for something alled the ATI Graphis Atalyst Ontrol Enter pops up. I have no idea what it does, or why it’s there, just that it’s bad to delete. I don’t know how to make the stupid hotkey stop and how to get it to go away. Furthermore, the letter “(k,s)” is ompletly unavailable for the duration. Any ideas?
Help could be here:
Okay, yeah, wow, that was it. Thank you. For some reason, my alt key has been really sticky or something. My whole keyboard is really pretty bad, actually.
ATI seized your cee!
Its surprising how cheap a new keyboard can be - not trying be snarky - they really are cheap and easy to replace in case you were thinking otherwise.
(since the OP has been answered)
I recently replaced my keyboard with a wireless keyboard and mouse (transmitter plugs into a USB port). I had some problem that shut down my computer, and when it rebooted it showed a BIOS screen asking something like if I wanted to boot normally or use the last good configuration. It was then I reailzed that the BIOS didn’t recognize the wireless keyboard and I could make a selection (it’s a 5 year old PC, perhaps a BIOS update might fix that). Anyway, I had to lug out the old wired keyboard, glad I didn’t toss it.
