I have an ATI tuner card. (ya know, the kind that you can hook up to cable and watch TV on). Anyways, ever since I upgraded to XP the ATI software refuses to work on it. I uninstalled, reinstalled, upgraded, downgraded, nothing. I gave up trying to fix the video in on it months ago. What I was wondering is, if there is third party software that will allow me to watch TV on the computer. Last time I checked the video out worked fine, it’s just the video in that I’m having problems with. As far as I can tell, all the drivers for the card work just fine, it just seems to be the ATI software for watching TV (ATI multimedia desktop) that’s giving me problems. Has anyone else expierenced similar problems? Or does anyone know how to solve this problem???
go to ATI and download the driver for windows 2000. I had the same problem…plus if you have dvd there is a driver there too…the tv tuner is 5.0 i believe.
