About an hour ago, in either IMHO or in MPSIMS, there was a thread started by Atomic Badger Curling, (or, possibly, Atomic Badger Hurling, saying he was a newbie who wanted advice on the particulars of the board. I believe he/she had one post at the time I replied to the thread.
I posted the basic newbie fodder, post in the proper forum, if you’re going to be bawl out another doper, take it to the pit, do a search before you post, etc., etc, then I signed off for a while. When I logged back on, I was surprised to see that the thread had dropped off the main page of MPSIMS or IMHO, whatever it was in. I checked in my user control pannel for suscribed threads and did a search–but it seems that the thread’s vanished.
Was ABC impersonating Atomic Badger Racing? (I did know of ABR before hand, and just figured, hey, maybe they’re friends, or dating, and the atmoic badger thing was their inside joke, whatever, and I wrote it off as nothing), and did that cause the thread to be pulled from the boards? Did he turn into a jerk later in the thread? Or is the board just randomly injesting newbie posts?
[Most of all, I’d just like to be assured that his post actually did exist, cos if not, I’m hallucinating (again)].
