Our beloved leader Cecil Adams currently has 99 posts.
Considering his loathing of technonolgy, I sincerely doubt that we’ll ever see the day when he gets up to the 1000 post level, so this may be the only chance we get to give him a post party. The only problem that I see is trying to get him to give up his 100th post here.
So, C’mon, Cecil … what’s it gonna take.

He’s been digging up old threads, so I figure Mrs Adams is out of town. A promise of hot food should suffice to make this a post party.
Or perhaps St. Cecil’s Day. Of course it is celebrated on the island of St. Lucia, so I figure the Reader should send all of us Dopers there for the next festival.

Perhaps if some dour soul predicts Cecil will never show, not in a million years! Ha! Forget it! - he’ll turn up just to prove me…er, I mean, prove that person wrong.
I’m just showing up in the remote chance that if he does show up, I’ve posted in a thread that he did. 
I’ll make cupcakes, if someone else will make the punch. Oh, and do we need new silly hats, or can we just use the leftovers from the last posting party? Does anyone remember who took them home?
