I would have hoped it would have self-updated as well gp, obviously it hasn’t for me. And I can’t even get the new version (4.13) to run on my Mandrake box. Grrrr.
I’ve been a member of SETI@home for 5.5 years now, and I joined “The Team” a year or so ago.
Stupidly, I never really paid attention to this thread much after I joined The Team, so I had no clue that SETI was changing things over. OK, not a problem, better late than never, right? WRONG.
SETI@home no longer recognizes me. Tells me the EMail address isn’t registered, yet I can get to my user page with the EMail address they say isn’t registered (through a URL I had saved). The last unit was uploaded 11/16/04, so it’s not like it’s been inactive that long. I looked at their message boards and apparently I’m far from the only person whose registration (along with all the work units and time) is LOST. OK, it’s only 311 units, but still…
Just curious if I’m the only one here who’s been so blessed. Forgive me for not reading through all the pages of the thread. I’m too pissed right now.

Heheh, just had to flex. I just got a new mobo and processor. P4 3.4GHz overclocked to 3.7 right now. I’m gonna try to push it closer to 4GHz once I get a better cooling solution.
