I heard his NPR interview this AM on the way to work. This will take about 8 minutes out of your life. I’d suggest you listen to it to hear what a person appointed to that position might aspire to. Would that AG Gonzales had asked for advice from Mr. Bell.

Bell had the integrity that all public servants should have. You’re there to serve the best interest of the people, not the special interests of powerful groups/individuals.

Here’s to you, Mr. Bell. Rest in Peace.

My thoughts exactly. It was amazing to hear about both his experiences presiding over trials that resulted in desegregation of schools and his manner of heading up the Justice Department. Very much worth the time.

I found myself hoping the Eric Holder was paying attention.
