Heh heh, when I went down to a smallish town in Texas to train tech classes at a new center the company I was working at opened up five years back, the students asked me what I was going to do to for fun the month I was there. One of them suggested going to the Rio, and I was like, “What, the river?” And they were like, “No, the nightclub.” And then I asked if they played Duran Duran, and nobody got it. I then had to sing part of the song. Nobody got it then either, but they suggested avoiding places with karaoke. I did finally end up going to the Rio a few weeks later, though. Still have my membership card around here somewhere.
