Holy crow! You ain’t kidding!
Sorry, the 30’s Fritzi is too skinny for me, I likes me a Zoftig girl.
As I said upthread, Fritzi Ritz has always been hot. In this latest incarnation, though, she looks somewhat more easily available than previously. I like it. The writers seem to be making an effort to keep the strip in real time with holiday themes and such. I can’t wait until summer rolls around. Fritzi will be going for a vacation at the beach, won’t she?
Well that’s just because the fashions in the older strips are dated. In those days, though, that’s how “available” girls dressed; she’s always dressed provocatively.
Nah, dude, that’s not so. I read Nancy as a kid in the 60’s and 70’s. Fritzi wasn’t dressed even in the conservative styles of the day, much less provocatively. In the 60’s, I never saw Fritzi in a miniskirt. In the 70’s, I never saw her in a slit skirt. Based on the images I linked to upthread, I am willing to stipulate that she dressed provocatively by the standards of the 20’s.
Did you see the one from last summer when she borrowed Nancy’s sidewalk chalk?
No. Link?
Didn’t save a link, and it wouldn’t be available now anyway. Just picture Fritzi, on the sidewalk, on all fours, and viewed from the same angle as the “R. Crumb” link above.
Oh yeah, and she’s in a t-shirt & shorts, and barefoot.
You really seem to have internalized that image.
That’s why I didn’t bother with a link.
BTW: I had the angle wrong, it’s the reverse of the “R. Crumb” one.
All I can say is that I would eat that full of ice cream.
I always thought Fritzi was hot.
And ddgryphon? Thanks for that reminder about Priscilla’s Pop. I tracked down a website that featured some of those strips, and recaptured a forgotten hunk of childhood.
Awright, it has to be done.
Who’s hotter: Aunt Fritzi (scroll to the bottom) or Brandy?
I for one can’t decide at the moment; I think experimentation would be in order.
With a repeated-measures design.
Purely for the sake of proper scientific validity, of course.
Brandy.
I’ve seen Frank Cho’s college-era strips. Too cool.
Fritzi. No ifs, ands, or buts. Fritzi, in any of her incarnations, rawks.
