Has it ever been determined who created Marree Man back in 1998? At the time, stories ranged from surveyors using GPS out for a bit of fun to American soldiers based nearby who did the deed.
Any additional information or has the story faded into the sands of time?
I’ve not heard of any additional information. In fact I don’t know whether it’s even still visible. At the time there were suggestions that it would be eroded away by wind and rain within a year or so.
